Internet-based Storage…Getting More for Free!

Any time I’ve ever needed to store something online for someone to download because of firewall restrictions or some other limitation that prevented a direct upload to someone, there was a big limitation: file size. While that limitation isn’t gone today, my father clued me in to a new service that’s helped make free Internet storage available and practical:

YouSendIt: The Leader in File Delivery.

For free, one can get up to 100MB for up to 7 days, which is far larger than the closest competitor I know of…and of course, one can keep re-posting and repeat the process with as many files as need be.  The site even supports anonymously storing files, leading to a number of other questions concerning copyright infringement and piracy potential….but let’s not tempt fate by getting into that here.
